- For laser cutting, it's best to mirror your artwork and cut with the backing side facing up (mirrored side facing down) to achieve optimal results.
Recommended Glowforge Setting: Medium Black Acrylic
The provided settings and tips are general guidelines. For optimal results, it's recommended to conduct a small test before proceeding with a larger project.
For cutting:
- Iridescent side up (Blue masking side)
- Keep the protective film in place
- Slightly more power than standard cast acrylic
- Air assist ON
For engraving:
- The opposite side of the iridescent film up (Clear masking side)
- Peel off masking
- Air assist OFF

- Sizes of acrylic sheets may vary by +/- 1/4 inch in length and width, and thickness may differ by up to 20%.
- Edges might be slightly chipped due to the cutting process.
- Product colors on our website may look different depending on your screen settings. While we try to display colors accurately, they may not be an exact match
- Most of our products come with a paper mask ready for laser cutting, and some have a protective plastic film. Although the plastic film is safe for lasers, we recommend replacing it with paper masking for better results.
